Matinée Dementia Friendly Films – Interim evaluation just out!

We are delighted to share our the Interim report from the Matinée Dementia Friendly Cinema Screenings learning programme: Matinee Interim report Year 3 02.20 FV
This report has been put together by the research team at the Institute of Mental Health at the University of Nottingham – Dr Emma Broome, Professor Tom Dening, and Professor Justine Schneider – and is an excellent reflection of both this year and of the project so far, leading us into year 4 of the 5-year project with some very interesting evidence and questions.
Matinée is funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Derbyshire County Council Public Health, and run by Arts Derbyshire.
Do feel free to distribute the report to those who might be interested, and we look forward to the final project report which will be published in 2021. If you have any questions or queries about the report, or would like some help in setting up your own cinema screenings or making other arts work more dementia friendly, please do contact the team:
